B.A, B.Ed After growing up in Medicine Hat, I left at 18 with the ambitions of finding the bright lights, big city.. and ended up in Edmonton. It is there that I received a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, and a Bachelor of Education specializing in Linguistics. Shortly after graduating I followed my brother to Calgary and never looked back. After some time in both public and private schools, I stumbled upon the Lynx program at Third Academy and have found my paradise. It is here that I get to explore my two passions with students; books and the outdoors. I am honoured to teach the humanities at Third East in the morning and to be outside with Lynx Calgary in the afternoon. In my spare time my partner, Jordan and I can be found with our dog Lucy in the mountains. We love to backcountry ski, hike, camp, and explore. When forced inside, I usually am plugging away at my Masters in Counselling Psychology, which I hope to finish Spring of 2023.
