Ena Maldonado
Teacher
Ena Maldonado is a dedicated educator known for her passion in education. Born and raised in El Salvador, Central America, Ena's early years were shaped by the warm of her community and the vibrant local culture.

Her educational journey includes a degree in Early Childhood Education from Universidad Evangelica de EL Salvador and a diploma as an Educational Therapist from FUNPRES. Ena further enhanced her skills by obtaining the Canadian ECS Level 3 certification, focusing on early childhood development.

With over a decade of experience in preschool education, Ena's journey led her Colegio Maya de El Salvador, where she taught English as a Second Language (ESL) and Math to kindergarten students. In 2017, she relocated to Guatemala, teaching ESL to grade 1 and 2 students at Village School, gaining valuable insights into diverse teaching methodologies.

In 2021, Ena and her family moved to Canada, where she started working at Divine Mercy, a Calgary Catholic School, supporting and guiding grade 1 and 2 students. During summer, she enjoyed to teaching Spanish at Unique Education Academy to preschool students. In 2022, Ena expanded her horizons in education by embraced a new role at Third Schools, first working in the Third Academy E1 classroom. Currently, Ena is the Lead Teacher working in the ECS classroom.

Outside of teaching, Ena cherishes moments spent with her family, enjoying camping trips, hiking adventures, and singing, which adds rhythm to her life. Ena looks forward to inspiring young minds and creating meaningful connections in both her professional career and personal life.
